Primary Citizenship
A citizenship book for children aged 5 to 11. It follows the Department for Education's non-statutory framework for PSHE and citizenship at Key Stages 1 and 2, and supports teaching about democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and respect. With the four friends of the Oakfield School Council, thirty units cover belonging, rules and fairness, rights and responsibilities, communities, money, charities and volunteering, recycling, diverse Britain, democracy, Parliament and elections, the four nations of the UK, human rights and checking whether something is true. It has stories, activities, talk-about-it questions, questions with answers and a glossary.
