Primary Astronomy
An illustrated astronomy book for children aged 5 to 11 (Key Stages 1 and 2, Years 1–6). It builds on the national curriculum for England (Key Stage 1 Seasonal changes, Year 3 Light and Year 5 Earth and space) and goes further in a fun, age-appropriate way: the Sun, day and night, the seasons, the Moon and its phases, eclipses, the planets, gravity, stars, galaxies and space travel. Each unit has a story, key words, step-by-step method boxes, safe observing activities, questions and a challenge, with answers and a simple glossary.
